Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov ( Uzbek Abdulla Nigʻmatovich Oripov, Russian Абдулла Нигматович Арипов Abdulla Nigmatowitsch Aripov ; born May 24, 1961 in Tashkent ) is an Uzbek politician of the Liberal Democratic Party and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan.

Life

Aripov attended the Tashkent Electro-Technical Institute of Communications . He has been Prime Minister of Uzbekistan since December 2016, succeeding Shavkat Mirziyoyev . After the parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan in 2019/20 , he was confirmed in his office by the newly elected parliament. Aripov is married and has five children.
