About You Now ( English for "Now about you") is a pop song by the British girl group Sugababes . It was released as the lead single of their fifth studio album Change on October 12, 2007 in Germany. An acoustic version of the song can be found on the follow-up album Catfights & Spotlights .
In January 2008, the single was nominated for a BRIT Award for Best British Single .
Emergence
The song was written by the American producer and songwriter Lukasz Gottwald in collaboration with the English singer Cathy Dennis and produced by Gottwald.
The song is about a girl who realizes how she feels about a boy and "now thinks about him" ("About You Now").

About You Now is the Sugababes' most successful single to this day . It reached number one in the charts in Estonia, Hungary, Slovenia and Great Britain and the top 10 in Germany, Austria, Ireland, Norway, Poland and Spain.
The Sugababes reached number one in the UK single charts solely through downloads . It is her sixth number one hit in her homeland. In Germany, About You Now reached number four on the single charts and topped the airplay charts for three weeks . The single was number one in the UK for four weeks, surpassing Push the Button (3 weeks). The Sugababes were also number one in the singles, album and download charts and are the only female artists to have made it twice (previously with Push the Button and the album Taller in More Ways ).
Music video
The music video for About You Now was filmed by Marcus Adams on August 24, 2007 and is set at the Festival Hall in Waterloo in London. It shows the girls in the hall how they sing and dance. You can also see a man who moves through a city with parkour and is looking for a girl. At the end of the video, he finally finds his beloved on a bridge in the evening on which the babes can also be seen.
The video is dedicated to director Tim Royes, who filmed the music videos for Red Dress and Easy , but died shortly afterwards in a car accident.
