Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies , even Abraham Lincoln's Zombie War is one of The Asylum produced, low-budget - horror film from the year 2012 . It is a mockbuster of the film Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter , which was released in German cinemas on October 3, 2012.

After Nancy Lincoln mutated into a zombie , her husband committed suicide shortly thereafter. The 10-year-old son of the couple, Abraham Lincoln, beheaded his mother for fear that a zombie epidemic would break out.
Years later, he was named 16th President of the United States during the American Civil War . During this time, a soldier informs Lincoln that there is a secret Confederate stronghold. During the conversation with the soldier, Lincoln notices that he is mutating into a zombie. He then assembles a team of zombie hunters, with himself in the lead, to destroy the undead confederacy.

The film was shot in Savannah , Georgia in January 2012 . The zombie battles and exterior shots of the stronghold were filmed in Fort Pulaski .

The film was released in Germany by Great Movies and has been shortened by over two and a half minutes. This abridged version itself has a youth rating from 16, but the publications contain trailers without youth rating and are therefore from 18.
