David Michael Latt

David Michael Latt (born May 28, 1966 in Encino, California ) is an American film producer , film director , screenwriter and film editor .

Life

Latt is one of the co-founders of the 1997 film production studio The Asylum . Concentrating on low-budget films from the start, the company has been producing mockbuster films continuously since 2005 . The first film of its kind was War of the Worlds 3 - How It All Began , which Latt himself directed. The original film title HG Wells' War of the Worlds plays on the expenses in the same year War of the Worlds by Steven Spielberg to.

Latt himself has been in the film business since the early 1990s. In 1992 he made his directorial debut with the comedy rock and roll fantasy . Since the early 2000s, he has also worked as a screenwriter and editor. He is also responsible for the special effects of many production.

As a producer, Latt has been involved in more than 250 productions so far. He has been married to actress Kim Little since 1994.
