The Achberg protected area is a landscape protection area designated by ordinance of May 24, 1966 (LSG number 4.36.051) in the west of the Baden-Württemberg community of Achberg in the Ravensburg district .

location

The 279 hectare large conservation area Achberg is part of the natural environment Westallgäuer hills . It extends between the Achberg districts of Regnitz in the north, over Frauenreute to Siberatsweiler in the south along the Argen and in parts encloses the directly adjacent nature reserve Argen (NSG number 4.282).

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose of the landscape protection area is the preservation and upgrading of the northern slope of the Argental valley with its wider surroundings.
