The Badsee area is a landscape protection area (LSG number 4.36.025) in the northeast of the municipality of Argenbühl , in the north of the city of Isny im Allgäu and in the south of the city of Leutkirch im Allgäu , in the south of the city of Leutkirch im Allgäu , designated by ordinance of April 1, 1981 of the Ravensburg District Office Wuerttemberg district of Ravensburg .
location
The nature reserve of around 1046 hectares is part of the Westallgäu hill country . It is located about seven kilometers northwest of Isny, enclosing the Badsee, also known as Haldensee , and the nature reserves Badsee and Taufach- and Fetzachmoos with Urseen . The protected area is in the districts of Beuren , Christazhofen (to Argenbühl), Gebrazhofen , Herlazhofen and Friesenhofen (all to Leutkirch).
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of the typical small-scale Allgäu landscape with its standing and flowing waters, in particular the bank areas as well as the moors , litter meadows, forests and woody plants and the typical morphological small forms in the interest of the fauna and flora typical for this area as well as the preservation of the recreational suitability.
