The Pfrunger Ried - Rinkenburg area is a landscape protection area (LSG number 4.36.010) designated by ordinance of October 23, 1967 in the area of ​​the Baden-Württemberg community of Wilhelmsdorf in the Ravensburg district in Germany .

location

The approximately 762 hectares large reserve "Pfrunger Ried - Rinke Castle" is located north of Wilhelmsdorfer town center to the districts Esenhausen , Pfrungen and Wilhelm village and a height of up to 726  m above sea level. NHN . It encloses large parts of the eponymous Pfrunger-Burgweiler Ried , the second largest contiguous moor area in southwest Germany, and the Rinkenburg , a tertiary molasse mountain.
