Adalberto Domingos Marzi OFMCap (born April 12, 1922 in Spello , Province of Perugia , Italy ; † September 18, 2001 ) was the prelate of Alto Solimões .

Life

Adalberto Marzi Domingos joined the religious order of the Capuchin in and received on 2 February 1947, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 2, 1947, Pope Pius XII appointed him . as Apostolic Administrator of Alto Solimões. Pope John XXIII appointed him on February 4, 1961 titular bishop of Saesina and appointed him prelate of Alto Solimões. The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil , Archbishop Armando Lombardi , donated him episcopal ordination on July 9 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Foligno , Siro Silvestri , and the Bishop of Tivoli , Luigi Faveri .

On May 26, 1978, Adalberto Domingos Marzi renounced the titular bishopric of Saesina. On September 12, 1990, Pope John Paul II accepted Adalberto Domingos Marzi's resignation due to reasons of age.

Adalberto Domingos Marzi attended the first, second and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
