Adam Odzimek

Adam Odzimek (born October 7, 1944 in Radom ) is a Polish clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Radom .

Life

He was ordained a priest on May 31, 1969 by the Apostolic Administrator of Sandomierz , Bishop Piotr Gołębiowski .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on April 3, 1985 auxiliary bishop in the diocese of Sandomierz-Radom and at the same time titular bishop of Tadamata . He was ordained bishop on May 13, 1985 by the Archbishop of Warsaw , Cardinal Józef Glemp ; Co- consecrators were Edward Henryk Materski , Bishop of Sandomierz, and Stanisław Szymecki , Bishop of Kielce . His motto is Ne deficiant fides caritasque .

With the division of the diocese on March 25, 1992 he became auxiliary bishop in Radom. He was vicar general in Radom, dean of the cathedral chapter of St. Casimir and lecturer at the Theological Institute in Radom.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on October 7, 2019.
