Adelin Wagner

Adelin Wagner (also Adeline Wagner ; born July 6, 1934 in Berlin ) is a former German actress .

Born in Berlin, raised in St. Ingbert near Saarbrücken and sent to the Irmengard monastery boarding school on the island of Frauenchiemsee , she was always drawn to other places as a teenager and young adult. At first she became " Miss Munich 1950" as soon as she had left the Benedictine school in 1950 . In Rome and Milan she then aimed to become an interpreter . The Austrian Arthur Maria Rabenalt finally discovered her for the film . Business Sleeping Bag was the name of the comedy that started in September 1955 . In the same year she brought Boleslaw Barlog to the Schillertheater in Berlin for a guest engagement . However, she remained without significant assignments, which allowed her to concentrate fully on the acting classes that had begun . She was allowed to put her skills into practice in the 1956 film The Model Husband . Between 1960 and 1966, she made further film and television series roles for the now resident of Hamburg .

Although an older actress of the same name had meanwhile become Adelin Jacob by marrying the screenwriter Alfred H. Jacob, Wagner used the first name form “Adeline” in parallel. However, she always remained “Adelin Wagner” on autograph cards.
