The judicial district of Laas ( Slovene : sodni okraj Lož ) was a judicial district in the crown land of Carniola, subordinate to the district court of Laas . It comprised parts of the political district of Loitsch (Logatec) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 . The judicial district was the sixth largest judicial district in Carniola, but also had the fifth smallest population.

history

The judicial district of Laas was created as a result of a ministerial lecture on August 6, 1849, in which the main features of the court division were laid down. After the territorial division of the judicial districts and the allocation of the judicial districts to the newly established district authorities had been determined by the "Political Organizing Commission" in December 1849, the district courts of Carniola began their work on June 1, 1850. The district court of Laas was assigned the 47 cadastral communities of Altenmarkt , Babenfeld , Babnapoliza , Benette , Bösenberg , Dane , Gradischku , Grafenacker , Grossberg , Grossoblack , Heiligengeist , Hitenu , Jerschitze , Iggendorf , Kosarsche , Kraintsche , Kremenza , Laas through the regional division of Carniola in March 1850 , Lipsein , Metule , Nadlesk , Neudorf , Oberseedorf , Obloschitz , Osredek , Otawe , Maria Wörth , Pod circu , Pölland , Pudob , Radlek , Raune , Raunik , Runarsk , Saleis , Schilze , Stermetz , Struckeldorf , Studenu , Studenz , Topol , Uscheuk , Werch , Werchnik , Wolfsbach , Zainarje and Raune assigned. Laas was initially part of the Imperial and Royal District Commission Adelsberg, so on March 10, 1687 the judicial district was added to the newly created district of Loitsch, which was formed from the former judicial district Planina (now Loitsch) and the judicial districts of Laas and Idria.

The judicial district had a population of 9,247 present in 1880, with 9,194 people reporting Slovene and 14 people using German as their colloquial language. In 1910, 8,395 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 8,291 spoke Slovene (98.8%) and 41 German (0.5%).

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Laas was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Courthouse

The court district of Laas comprised the three communities Stari Trg (German: Altenmarkt), Lož (Laas) and Bloke (Oblak) as a result of the merging of the cadastral communities into communities in 1910 .
