The judicial district of Wippach ( Slovene : sodni okraj Vipava ) was a judicial district in the crown land of Carniola, which was subordinate to the district court of Wippach . It included parts of the political district Adelsberg (Postojna) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 .

history

The judicial district of Wippach was created as a result of a ministerial lecture on August 6, 1849, in which the main features of the court division were laid down. After the territorial division of the judicial districts and the allocation of the judicial districts to the newly established district authorities had been determined by the "Political Organizing Commission" in December 1849, the district courts of Carniola began their work on June 1, 1850. The district court of Wippach was assigned the 25 cadastral communities of Budaine, Ersel, Gotsche, Grische, Javornik, Kanidol, Kouk, Kreuzberg, Losche, Lositsche, Nanos, Oberfeld, Planina, Podkrai, Podraga, Grospule, Sanabor, Slap through the regional division of Krain in March 1850 , Sturia, Ustia, St. Veit, Wischne, Woditze, Wippach and Zoll. Together with the judicial districts Adelsberg (Postojna), Illyrisch-Feistritz (Ilirska Bistrica) and Senosetsch (Senožeče), the judicial district Wippach formed the political district of Adelsberg.

The judicial district had a population of 12,050 present in 1880, with 12,018 people giving Slovene and 14 people German as the colloquial language. In 1910, 12,388 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 12,335 spoke Slovene (99.6%) and 17 German (0.1%).

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , which was concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Adelsberg was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Courthouse

As a result of the merging of the cadastral municipalities into municipalities in the 19th century in 1910, the court district Wippach comprised the 15 municipalities Budanje (German: Budaine), Erzelj (Ersel), Goče (Gotsche), Lože (Losche), Vrhpolje (Oberfeld), Planina , Podkraj , Podraga , Šent Vid (Sankt Veit), Slap , Šturije , Ustje , Vrábče (Urabtsche), Vipava (Wippach) and Col (Zoll).
