history

The Gurkfeld judicial district was created as a result of a ministerial lecture on August 6, 1849, in which the main features of the court division were laid down. After the territorial division of the judicial districts and the allocation of the judicial districts to the newly established district authorities had been determined by the "Political Organizing Commission" in December 1849, the district courts of Carniola began their work on June 1, 1850. The District Court Gurkfeld were by the provincial division of Krain in March 1850, the 17 cadastral Arch , Bruendl , Dernowo , large arbor , Grossmraschou , Grosspodlog , Gurkfeld , Haselbach , Hubaiza , Mersch Adige village , Munkendorf , Podwersche , Rauno , Schenusche , Smedik , Wutschka and Zirkle assigned. Together with the judicial districts Landstraß (Kostanjevica), Nassenfuß (Mokronog) and Ratschach (Radeče, originally Weixelstein), the judicial district Gurkfeld formed the Gurkfeld district.

The judicial district had a present population of 15,915 in 1880, with 15,737 people reporting Slovene and 91 people using German as the colloquial language. In 1910, 17,200 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 16,973 spoke Slovene (98.6%) and 22 German (0.1%).

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , which was concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Adelsberg was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Courthouse

The court district Idria comprised the five municipalities of Raka (German: Arch), Bučka (Butschka), Krško (Gurkfeld), Strudenec (Bründl) and Zirkle (Cerklje) as a result of the merging of the cadastral municipalities into municipalities in 1910 .
