The judicial district of Zirknitz ( Slovene : sodni okraj Cerknica ) was a judicial district in the crown land of Carniola, subordinate to the district court of Zirknitz . It comprised parts of the political district of Loitsch (Logatec) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 .

history

The judicial districts in Carniola were created as a result of a ministerial lecture on August 6, 1849, in which the main features of the court division were laid down. After the territorial division of the judicial districts and the allocation of the judicial districts to the newly established district authorities had been determined by the "Political Organizing Commission" in December 1849, the district courts of Carniola began their work on June 1, 1850. The area of the judicial district of Zirknitz originally belonged to the area of the judicial district of Loitsch . The judicial district of Zirknitz was split off from the judicial district of Loitsch only by an ordinance of the Imperial and Royal Ministry of Justice of December 3, 1892, with the newly created judicial district comprising the nine cadastral communities Grahovo , Kolschlek , Niederndorf , Seuschtschek (Selšček), Ulaka , Wesulak (Bezuljak), Wigaun , Žerovnica ( Scherounitz) and Zirnitz . On January 1, 1894, the District Court of Zirknitz finally started its activities. Together with the judicial districts of Loitsch, Laas and Idria , the judicial district of Zirknitz subsequently formed the district of Loitsch.

In 1910 16,876 persons were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 16,755 spoke Slovene (99.3%) and 63 German (0.4%).

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , which was concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Adelsberg was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Courthouse

The court district Idria comprised the four communities Begunje (German: Wigaun), Rakek , Sveti Vid nad Cerknico (Sankt Veit ob Zirknitz) and Zirknitz as a result of the merging of the cadastral communities into communities in 1910 .
