It included parts of the political district Adelsberg (Postojna) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 .

history

The judicial district of Feistritz was created as a result of a ministerial lecture on August 6, 1849, in which the main features of the court division were laid down. After the territorial division of the judicial districts and the allocation of the judicial districts to the newly established district authorities had been determined by the "Political Organizing Commission" in December 1849, the district courts of Carniola began their work on June 1, 1850. The District Court Feistritz were by the provincial division of Krain in March 1850, the 33 cadastral Berze, Dobropole , Dornegg , Feistritz , Grafenbrunn , Grossbukowitz , Harje , Jablanitz , Janeschouberdo , Jassen , Jurschitsch , Kleinbukowitz , Koritenze , Kosese , Kühlenberg , Meretsche , Obersemon , Parje , Postenje , Prem , Rotheschouberdu, Sagurie , Saretschie , Sartschitza , Schembie, Smerje, Terptschane , Tomigne, Topolz , Tschele , Untersemon , Verbou and Watsch. Together with the judicial districts Adelsberg (Postojna), Senosetsch (Senožeče) and Wippach (Vipava), the judicial district Illyrisch-Feistritz formed the political district of Adelsberg.

The judicial district had a population of 10,502 present in 1880, with 10,448 people citing Slovene and 17 people using German as a colloquial language. In 1910, 12,037 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 11,885 spoke Slovene (98.7%) and 21 German (0.2%).

In the course of the renaming of the Feistritz court seat to "Illyrisch-Feistritz", the court district was also renamed "Illyrisch-Feistritz" in 1902. Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , which was concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Adelsberg was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
