history

The judicial district of Adelsberg was created as a result of a ministerial lecture on August 6, 1849, in which the main features of the court division were laid down. After the territorial division of the judicial districts and the allocation of the judicial districts to the newly established district authorities had been determined by the "Political Organizing Commission" in December 1849, the district courts of Carniola began their work on June 1, 1850. The district court of Adelsberg was assigned the 22 cadastral communities of Adelsberg , Altdirnbach , Altendorf , Dorn , Hrasche , Kal , Koschana , Mautersdorf , Nadaineselu , Narein , Nussdorf , Ostroschnowerdu , Paltschie , Peteline , Rakitnik , Rodockendorf , Sagon , Saloch through the regional division of Carniola in March 1850 , Seuze , Slawina , Suhorje and Vovče assigned. Together with the judicial districts of Illyrisch-Feistritz (Ilirska Bistrica), Senosetsch (Senožeče) and Wippach (Vipava), the judicial district of Adelsberg formed the political district of Adelsberg.

The judicial district had a population of 12,277 present in 1880, with 12,001 people giving Slovene and 207 people German as the colloquial language. In 1910 13,479 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 13,333 spoke Slovene (98.9%) and 68 German (0.5%).

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , which was concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Adelsberg was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Courthouse

The court district of Adelsberg comprised the six communities Postojna (German: Adelsberg), Bukovje (Bukuje), Košana (Koschana), Šmihel (St. Michael bei Adelsberg), Šent Peter (Sankt Peter) and Slavina as a result of the merging of the cadastral communities into communities in 1910 , where Bukovje (Bukuje) came on July 1, 1874 from the judicial district Senosetsch to the judicial district Adelsberg.
