The judicial district Weixelburg ( Slovene : sodni okraj Višnja Gora , originally judicial district St. Martin bei Littai ) was a judicial district in the crown land of Carniola, subordinate to the district court Weixelburg . It comprised parts of the political district Littai (Litaja) in Bela krajina ( Weißkrain ) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 .

history

The judicial district of Littai was created as a result of a ministerial lecture on August 6, 1849, in which the basic features of the court division were laid down, the judicial district initially being called Weixelstein. After the territorial division of the judicial districts and the allocation of the judicial districts to the newly established district authorities had been determined by the "Political Organizing Commission" in December 1849, the district courts of Carniola began their work on June 1, 1850. The district court of Littai was assigned the 35 cadastral communities Blečni Verh (Feldsberg), Bukovica (Bukowitz), Češnice (Zheschenze), Dedni Dol (Dedenol), Dob (Dobrawa), Dobrava (Dobrawa), Draga (Draga ) through the regional division of Carniola ), Gorenja Vas (Goreinawass), Hudo (Bösendorf), Ilova Gora (Ilowagora), Križna Vas (Kreuzdorf), Leskoves (Leskouz), Luče (Leitsch), Male Dole (Maledole), Metnaj (Metnai), Muljava (Mulau) , Podboršt (Podborst), Podbukuje (Podbukuje), Polica (Politz), Prapreče (Prapretsche), Radoha Vas (Rodockendorf), Šentvid (St. Veith), Slivnica (Schleinitz), Stehanja (Stokendorf), Sušica (Schuschitsch), Temenica (Themaiz), Velika Loka (Grosslack), Velike Pece (Velkepetze), Veliki Gaber (Grossgaber), Velke Verhe (Verche), Videm Obergurk, Višnja Gora (Weixelburg), Zagorica (Sagoritza), Zatičina (Parakeet) and Zobrače (Subratsche) ) assigned. Together with the judicial district Littai (Litaja), the judicial district Weixelburg formed the district Littai.

The judicial district had a present population of 12,518 in 1880, with 12,457 people giving Slovene and 55 people German as the colloquial language. In 1910, 12,324 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 12,270 spoke Slovene (99.6%) and 20 German (0.2%).

Due to the border provisions of the Treaty of Saint-Germain concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Littai was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

The court district Weixelburg comprised the 24 municipalities Bukovica (Bukowitz), Češnjice , Dedendol , Dob , Draga , Gorenja Vas (Oberdorf), Križka Vas (Kreuzdorf), Krka (Obergurk), Luče (Leitsch), as a result of the merging of the cadastral municipalities into municipalities in 1910 , Leskovec (Leskouz), Muljava (Mulau), Podboršt , Hudo (Pösendorf), Polica (Politz), Prapreče (Prapretsche), Radohova Vas (Rodockendorf), Šent Vid (Sankt Veit), Žalina (Schalna), Stehanja Vas (Stockendorf) , Temenica (Temenitz), Veliki Gaber (Großgaber), Velike Pece (Großpeze), Višnja Gora (Weixelburg) and Zagorica (Sagoritza).
