The judicial district of Bischoflack ( Slovene : sodni okraj Škofja Loka ) was a judicial district in the crown land of Carniola, which was subordinate to the district court of Bischoflack . It comprised parts of the political district of Krainburg (Kranj) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 . The judicial district of Bischoflack comprised the fourth largest area in 1910 and also had the fifth largest population of all judicial districts in Carniola.

history

The judicial district of Bischoflack was created as a result of a ministerial lecture on August 6, 1849, in which the main features of the court division were laid down. After the territorial division of the judicial districts and the allocation of the judicial districts to the newly established district authorities had been determined by the "Political Organizing Commission" in December 1849, the district courts of Carniola began their work on June 1, 1850. The district court of Bischoflack was given the ten cadastral communities Bobje (Dobie), Bukovica (Wukouza), Davča (Dautscha), Dolenčice (Dolentschitze), Dolenja Dobrava (Doleinadobrawa), Dolenja Vas (Doleinawass), Dolenje Berdo ( Dolenwerd) Dorfarje (villages), Dražgoše (Draschgosche) Godešič (Godeschitz) Gorenja Vas (Goreinawass) Hotavlke (Hotaule) Kalise (-earth), Koprivnik (Kopriunik) Kovski Ratio (Kouskiwerch) Križna Gora (Kreuzberg) , Laniše (Lanische), Leskovca (Leskouza), Loka (Lack), Lučne (Lutschna), Martin Verh (St. Nikolai), Nemilje (Nemile), Peven (Pewen), Podjelovo Berdo (Podjelovimberdam), Podobeno (Podobenim), Podverham (Podwerch), Puštal (Burgstall), Reteče (Retetsche), Sajne (Daine), Selce (Selzach), Sminec (Sminz), Sorica (Zarz), Staniše (Stanische), Stara Loka (Altenlack), Stara Oslica (Altosslitz ), Stari Dvor (Stariduor), Studeno (Studenim), Suha (Zauchen), Sveti Barbara (St. Barbara), Sveti Klemen (St. Clementis), Sve ti Križ (St. Crucis), Sveti Lenard (St. Leonhard), Sveti Ozbald (St. Oswald), Trebija (Terbia), Visolo (Wisokim), Žabnica (Safnitz), Zali Log (Salilog), Zapotnica (Sapotnitza), Železnike (Eisern), Zgornja Luža (Oberluscha) and Zgornja Rovan (Sgornarowan) assigned. Together with the judicial districts Neumarktl (Tržič) and Krainburg (Kranj), the judicial district Bischoflack formed the district of Krainburg.

The judicial district had a population of 23,607 present in 1880, with 23,386 people giving Slovene and 157 people German as the colloquial language. In 1910 23,580 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 23,466 spoke Slovenian (99.5%) and 46 German (0.2%).

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , which was concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Bischoflack was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

As a result of the amalgamation of the cadastral municipalities to municipalities in 1910, the Bischoflack court district comprised the 13 municipalities Češnjica , Javorje (Afriach), Leskovca (Leskouza), Oslica (Oßlitz), Poljane (Pölland), Selca (Selzach), Škofja Loka (Bischoflack), Sora ( Zaier), Sorica (Zarz), Stara Loka (Altenlack), Trata , Železnike (Eisern) and Zminec (Sminz).
