The judicial district of Krainburg ( Slovene : sodni okraj Kranj ) was a judicial district in the Kronland Krain which was subordinate to the District Court of Krainburg . It comprised parts of the political district of Krainburg (Kranj) and was added to the state of Yugoslavia in 1919 . In 1910 the judicial district of Krainburg had the sixth largest population of all judicial districts.

history

The judicial district of Krainburg was created as a result of a ministerial lecture on August 6, 1849, in which the main features of the court division were laid down. After the territorial division of the judicial districts and the allocation of the judicial districts to the newly established district authorities had been determined by the "Political Organizing Commission" in December 1849, the district courts of Carniola began their work on June 1, 1850.

The district court of Krainburg was assigned the 58 municipalities Babni Vert (Babendorf), Bela (Vellach), Bitnje (Feichting), Breg (Breg), Breg ob Savi (Ranndorf), Britof (Freithof), Cerkle ( Zirklach), Česnjek (Kerstetten), Čirčiče (Zirtschisch), Druljovk (Drulouk), Goriče (Goritsche), Grad (Grad), Hraše (Hrasche), Hrastje (Hrastie), Huje (Huje), Jama (Jama), Klanc ( Klanz), Kokra (Kanker), Kokrica (Kokritz), Kranj (Krainburg), Luže (Lausach), Mavčiče (Mauschitz), Moše (Mosche), Naklo (Naklas), Okroglo (Okroglo), Oprimskovo (Primskou), Pivka ( Piuka), Podbrezje (Birkendorf), Podreče (Podretsche), Praše (Prasche), Predaslje (Predassl), Pšata (Beischeid), Rupa (Rupa), Šentjur (St. Georgen), Šenturška Gora (Ulrichsberg), Šmarten (St. Martin), Smlednik (Flödnig), Spodnja Besnica (Unterwessnitz), Spodnji Bernik (Unterfernik), Srednja Vas (Srednawass), Štefanja Gora (Stefansberg), Sterževo (stubborn), Stražiše (Straschische), Strohinj (Suha.), Suha ( Suha cha), Sveti Jošt (St. Jodozi), Tenetiše (Tenética), Terboje (Terboje), Tupalče (Tupalitsch), Udnji Boršt (Duke Forest ), Velesovo (Michelstetten), Viševk (Olscheuk), Voglje (Winklern), Zapoge (Seebach), Žeje (Scheje.), Zgornja Besnica (Oberwessnitz) and Zgornji Bernik (Oberfernik).

Together with the judicial districts Bischoflack (Škofja Loka) and Neumarktl (Tržič), the judicial district Krainburg formed the district of Kranj.

The judicial district had a population of 22,776 present in 1880, with 22,378 people reporting Slovene and 248 people using German as their colloquial language. In 1910, 22,397 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 22,216 spoke Slovene (99.2%) and 75 spoke German (0.3%).

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Krainburg was completely added to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Courthouse

The court district of Krainburg comprised the 13 municipalities of Cerklje (Zirklach), Hrastje (Hrastie), Kranj (Krainburg), Mavčiče (Mautschitsch), Naklo (Naklas), Predoslje (Predassl), Preddvor (Höflein), as a result of the merging of the cadastral municipalities into municipalities in 1910 , Šenčur (St. Georgen), Smlednik (Flödnig), Sveti Jošt (St. Jodozi), Stražiše (Straschische), Velesovo (Michelstetten) and Voglje (Winklern).
