Admir Terzić (* 19th September 1992 in Alsdorf ) is a German- Bosnian football player who in the defense primarily as a center-back is used.
Career
Terzić began his career in the youth of the lower-class Alsdorf club SC Kellersberg before moving to the youth of Alemannia Aachen . In summer 2009 he moved to Borussia Dortmund's U-19 .
Two years later he made the jump into the squad of the second team that played in the Regionalliga West . But even before that, he gained notoriety among BVB supporters due to a sad incident: Terzić's father took his own life in March 2011 and set the family home on fire. No other person was harmed, but the young player received psychiatric treatment for several months. In the second half of 2011/12 Terzić won a regular place in central defense and rose with the team in the 3rd division . At the beginning of the 2012/13 season , however, he lost his regular place. On August 3, 2012, the 3rd matchday of the 2012/13 season , he made his debut in professional football in the away game against his former club Alemannia Aachen (1: 1) when he came on for Marcel Halstenberg in the 60th minute .
Before the 2013/14 season, Terzić was toying with a move to Alemannia Aachen. Although he trained in the opening training of Alemannia, he did not sign a contract. He also suffered an ankle injury. In January 2014 Terzić signed a contract with regional league club SV Lippstadt 08 , where he only came on a brief assignment. In the summer of 2014 he went to the regional league club FC Roetgen , before moving to the regional league at Sportfreunde Düren a year later.
For the 2016/17 season he went to Borussia Freialdenhoven in the Middle Rhine League . A year later he joined the TuRU Düsseldorf in the Oberliga Niederrhein . In the 2017/18 winter break, he terminated his contract after eight league appearances.
In January 2018 he joined the regional division TuS Erndtebrück and in 2020 he moved to the Middle Rhine division Viktoria Arnoldsweiler
National team
Terzić was a member of the German U-17 national team in the 2008/09 season , for which he was substituted on in two international matches.
