The 2015/16 ABL season was the 70th season of the Admiral Basketball Bundesliga . The Oberwart Gunners became champions and cup winners. The defending champion Güssing Knights, who scored points, had his Bundesliga license withdrawn for financial reasons.

Game mode 2015/16

Ten teams took part in the Admiral Basketball Bundesliga (ABL) in 2015/16. In April 2016, during the 2015/16 season, the Güssing Knights ' Bundesliga license was withdrawn for financial reasons and the game had to be stopped. Despite a lead of 16 points in the basic round in the table over the second-placed Oberwart Gunners, the championship could not be achieved.
