Adolf Abicht (District Administrator)

Adolf Abicht (born March 17, 1872 in Oels , Province of Silesia ; † February 23, 1938 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator in the Alfeld district (1899-1900) and in the Marienwerder district (1906-1919).

Life

Abicht studied law in Göttingen and Berlin . He began his professional career in 1893 as a court trainee in Einbeck , Göttingen and Berlin. In 1896 he was a government trainee with the government and the district office in Aurich and with the city administration in Leer (East Friesland) . In 1899 he was employed as a government assessor at the ministerial and building commission as well as at the police headquarters in Berlin. From November 1899 to October 1900 he was a representative of the district administrator in Alfeld (Leine) . In 1903 he was employed by the government in Marienwerder and from April 23, 1906, Abicht officiated as provisional district administrator in Marienwerder / Westpr .
