Adolph Friedrich von Hinüber (also Adolph von Hinüber or Burchard von Hinüber and Adolph Burchard Friedrich von Hinüber and Adolf Burchard Friedrich von Hinüber ; * July 26, 1769 in Hanover ; † June 13, 1845 ibid) was a Royal British and Elector from Hanover , later Royal Hanoverian lawyer and chancellery director, senior appeal councilor and canon canon.

Life

Adolph von Hinüber was a member of the von Hinüber noble family . He was born at the time of the personal union between Great Britain and Hanover as the youngest son of the postmaster, bailiff and garden creator Jobst Anton von Hinüber and Anna Justine Pape (1723-1812), daughter of the Chief Post Commissioner Pape in Hanover. He was the brother of the court councilor, bailiff, general road construction manager and postmaster Gerhard Friedrich Otto von Hinüber (1752-1815) and the major and director of the Göttingen post office Christian Carl von Hinüber (1759-1825).

Adolf Burchard Friedrich von Hinüber studied law in Göttingen at the Georg August University from October 26, 1786, and later also physics . In the summer semester of 1788 he heard the lectures of the mathematician, natural scientist and experimental physicist Georg Christoph Lichtenberg , who in October of the same year wrote him a letter of recommendation for a trip to Darmstadt . Back in Göttingen, von Hinüber did his doctorate in the summer semester of 1789 as Dr. jur.

Also in 1789 Burchard went from Hinüber to Stade to manage the local law firm , in which he worked as an auditor in the following year 1890 as well as at the court there .

During the so-called " French era " he went from Hinüber to Celle in 1804 or 1805 and took over the duties of a council at the local court of appeal .

After the electorate was elevated to the Kingdom of Hanover, Burchard von Hinüber took over the management of the Royal Justice Chancellery in the former royal seat of the same name in 1816 . As such, he worked for matters relating to the areas of the former Principality of Calenberg as well as for the County of Hoya and the County of Diepholz .

In 1823 von Hinüber became an assessor in the secret council in Hanover. In 1826 he married Anna, née von Bülow (1799-1853), but the marriage remained childless.

After Burchard von Bülow had become "in 1833 a member of the section for the decision of competence conflicts", he became a member of the Hanover State Council in 1839 . In addition, von Bülow performed the duties of the canon of the Beatae Mariae Virginis monastery in Einbeck .

Burchard von Bülow, who was awarded the title of honorary doctor , founded the v. Hinübersche Foundation. After the death of his father, he also became the owner of the post office in Hanover. He died on June 13, 1845 in his hometown of Hanover.

Remarks

  1. In fact, the DNB inadvertently mentions mainly the simple name "Adolph Hinüber", without the nobility addition "von"
