Adolf Heidenreich Baron Droste zu Vischering (born December 13, 1699 in the moated Darfeld castle ; † December 15, 1747 ) was canon in Münster , Osnabrück and Minden .

Life

Origin and family

Adolf Heidenreich Droste zu Vischering was born as the son of Christoph Heidenreich Droste zu Vischering and his wife Klara Brigitta von Galen zu Assen , daughter of Johann Heinrich von Galen , one of the most important Westphalian noble families . His brother Maximilian Heidenreich (1684-175) was an official and privy councilor. His twin brother Heidenreich Matthias (1699–1739) Chapter Vicar and Privy Councilor.

Act

With the receipt of the tonsure on April 3, 1706 Adolf Heidenreich was prepared for a spiritual life. With papal approval, he was awarded a cathedral priest in 1721 . In the same year he renounced his Osnabrück prebend in favor of Canon Johann Franz Anton von Raesfeld zu Ostendorf. In addition to the possession of a Mindener prebende, Adolf Heidenreich also owned the archdeaconate on the Drei and the obedience of Blasii sive Sommersehl . Adolf Heidenreich was a subdeacon and supported Jobst Matthias von Twickel in the election of the provost in 1726 .
