Adolf Heinrich Grasses
Adolf Heinrich Gräser (born November 9, 1801 in Eckartsberga ; † April 4, 1879 in Oberheldrungen ) was a German Protestant theologian and politician .
Life
Born as the son of a general excise collector, Gräser studied Protestant theology after attending the Pforta state school in Halle . During his studies in 1820 he became a member of the fraternity source society in Halle . After working for several years as a tutor for the Ludwig von Vinckes family in Münster , he was ordained in Münster in 1828 . Until 1839 he was pastor in Spielberg near Eckartsberga , then until 1879 in Oberheldrungen. From 1850 to 1863 he was a member of the Saxon provincial parliament in Magdeburg , and from 1860 to 1863 also in the Prussian House of Representatives (constituency Merseburg , rights / Grabow, later left center).
