NGC 6542 is a 13.3 likes bright lenticular dwarf galaxy from the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Draco the northern sky . It is estimated to be 39 million light years from the Milky Way and about 10,000 light years across.
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on July 22, 1886 .
