NGC 6532 is a 14.0 mag bright spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sc in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 255 million light years from the Milky Way and about 130,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Edward D. Swift on September 19, 1886 .
