NGC 6545 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E1 in the constellation Peacock the southern sky . It is estimated to be 187 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter.

In the same area of ​​the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 4680 .

The object was discovered by John Herschel on June 20, 1835 .
