IC 4680 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 196 million light years from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxy NGC 6545 is located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on July 19, 1901 .
