IC 4664 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is around 220 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 120,000 light years . It is a member of the four galaxy counting NGC 6483 group ( LGG 415 ).
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart in July 1901 .
