IC 1252 = IC 4649 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sab in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is around 414 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 120,000 light years . Together with PGC 3135958 it forms a galaxy pair .

In the same area of ​​the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 6338 , NGC 6345 , NGC 6346 , IC 4650 .

The object was discovered by Guillaume Bigourdan on September 5, 1888 .
