NGC 6346 is a 14.6 likes bright elliptical galaxy with an active galactic nucleus from Hubble type E2 in the constellation Draco the northern sky . It is estimated to be 405 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years across.

In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6338 , NGC 6345 , IC 4649 , IC 4650 .

The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on May 13, 1887 .
