NGC 6332 is a 13.6 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation Hercules at the northern sky . It is an estimated 384 million light years from the Milky Way and about 180,000 light years in diameter .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6323 , NGC 6327 , NGC 6329 , NGC 6336 .
The object was discovered on July 11, 1876 by Édouard Stephan .
