NGC 6327 is a 15.0 mag compact galaxy of the Hubble type C in the constellation Hercules in the northern sky . In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6323 , NGC 6329 , NGC 6332 , IC 4645 .
The object was discovered by Édouard Stephan on July 18, 1876 .
