NGC 6323 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble-type Sab in the constellation Hercules in the northern sky . It is an estimated 356 million light years from the Milky Way and has a disk diameter of about 115,000 light years.
The object was discovered on July 12, 1876 by Édouard Stephan .
