NGC 6336 is a 13.6 likes bright barred spiral galaxy of Hubble type SBa in the constellation Hercules at the northern sky . It is an estimated 371 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6323 , NGC 6327 , NGC 6329 , NGC 6332 .
The object was discovered on July 11, 1876 by Édouard Stephan .
