NGC 6328 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Altar . It is an estimated 188 million light years from the Milky Way .
The galaxy was discovered on May 2, 1835 by the astronomer John Herschel with the help of his 18.7 inch mirror telescope and was later included in his New General Catalog by Johan Dreyer .
