NGC 6552 is a 13.8 likes bright barred spiral galaxy with an active galactic nucleus from Hubble type SBBC in the constellation Draco the northern sky . It is estimated to be 364 million light years from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on October 6, 1866 by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest .
