Adolf von Brand

Adolf Ernst Paul von Brand (born June 15, 1803 at Gut Lauchstädt , Neumark , Mark Brandenburg ; † December 23, 1878 ibid) was a landowner and Prussian politician.

family

He came from an old Neumark aristocratic family that was first mentioned in 1275. His parents were Ernst Friedrich Ludwig von Brand (1767–1821) and his wife Christine Caroline von Sack (1780–1728).

Brand married on August 28, 1823 at Gut Lauchstädt Antonine von Kameke (born October 6, 1801 at Gut Thunow near Köslin , † June 7, 1888 in Berlin ), the daughter of the canon and landowner Friedrich von Kameke , landowner at Baldekow and others, and Wilhelmine von Brand (Lauchstädt house). The couple had the following children:

Life

Brand was a royal Prussian second lieutenant a. D. and landlord on Lauchstädt, Dolgen , Wutzig and Hermsdorf, all in the Friedeberg district, as well as on Samter near Posen . He was a royal Prussian chamberlain , legal knight of the Order of St. John and a member of the Prussian manor house .
