Adolph Leopold Otto Wilhelm Tieschowitz (von Tieschowa) (born September 21, 1803 in Rokittnitz , † October 5, 1862 in Ratibor , district of Ratibor ) was a German district administrator and politician .

Tieschowitz was the son of the state elder of the district of Beuthen Gottlieb Friedrich Wilhelm Tieschowitz von Tieschowa from the noble family Tieschowitz von Tieschowa and his wife Eberhardine Jeanette Auguste Caroline Luise nee Freiin von Stein-Lausnitz. Tieschowitz, the Protestant denomination, was married on June 20, 1832 in Postelwitz, Kreis Oels , Gertrud Adelheid Marie Maximiliane Adelgunde Louise Raven (born November 6, 1802 in Leobschütz , † 23 February 1871 in Neisse ), the daughter of Major Karl Friedrich Wilhelm von Raven.

Tieschowitz attended St.-Elisabeth-Gymnasium in Breslau and passed the Abitur there in 1824. From 1824 he studied law in Berlin. In 1827 he became an ausculator at the Berlin City Court and in 1829 a trainee court clerk. In 1831, due to the death of his father, he left the judicial service shortly before the third exam and took over the family property in Rokittnitz.

He was district deputy in Beuthen . From 1840 to 1841 he was district administrator in the district of Beuthen. In 1840 he was elected as a candidate for the post of district administrator with 19 out of 21 votes and was appointed as district administrator of the district of Beuthen, releasing the district examination. In 1840 he became the state elder. In 1858 he sold the Rokittnitz manor. However, he was released from the obligation to resign the district office after the sale and remained district administrator until 1860. From 1859 to 1865 he was landscape director of the Upper Silesian principalities in Ratibor.

In 1850 he belonged to the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament . From 1851 to 1852 he was a member of the Second Prussian Chamber .

He was awarded the character of a Privy Councilor and the Order of the Red Eagle, 4th class.
