Adrián Ubieto (born March 11, 1993 in Jaca ) is a Spanish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Anglet Hormadi Élite in Division 1 , the second highest French division, since 2017 .

Career

Adrián Ubieto began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of the CH Jaca , for which he played continuously until 2017. With the club from his hometown, he became Spanish national champion in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016. In 2011, 2012 and 2013 he won the Copa del Rey with the Aragonese . In 2017 he moved to France, where he won the championship in second-rate Division 1 with Anglet Hormadi Elite in 2018 and was promoted to Ligue Magnus .

International

For Spain, Ubieto first took part in the U18 World Championships in 2010 and 2011 and then in the U20 World Championships in 2011 , 2012 and 2013 in Division II. He also played with the Spanish student selection at the 2015 Winter Universiade in Granada .

With the men's national team he played in the title fights of Division II in 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 and 2018 when he was the best preparer of the tournament. He also represented his colors at the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
