Aenne Nau

Aenne Nau (born December 1909 in Frankfurt am Main ; † August 1991 ) was a German actress and radio play speaker .

Life

Aenne Nau spent a large part of her childhood on the Dziembowo estate near Schneidemühl , which belongs to the von Klitzing family , and where one of her grandfathers worked as a manager. At the age of 16 she began her artistic training at a drama school in her hometown. Until all German theaters were closed during the Second World War , Nau appeared at an army theater in Metz and had engagements at various stages in eastern Germany, most recently in Rostock at the city ​​theater there . For a while she worked in a Rostock doctor's practice until she and her mother fled to relatives in Nienburg an der Weser before the advancing Red Army .

After the war, Nau played at the Oberhausen Theater , where she met her future husband, the actor Ludwig Hayn (1903–1954), whom she married in 1952. Hayn died of cancer shortly before their daughter was born. She was also committed to the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden .

Aenne Nau made her comrade debut at the age of 60, namely in 1970 in an episode of the documentary series Right or Wrong . This was followed by other roles in series such as Anderland , A Fall for Two or With Body and Soul . Nau became more well-known in 1984 on the side of Liesel Christ in the series Bei Mudder Liesl , in which she played in all episodes.

From the 1970s onwards, Aenne Nau also took part in several radio play productions from various radio stations.
