Ahn Hyun-min (born September 27, 1986 in Seoul ) is a former South Korean ice hockey player who was last under contract with High1 in the Asia League Ice Hockey until 2018 .

Career

Ahn Hyun-min began his career as a hockey player on the Kwangsung High School team . He later played for the Korea University team . In 2009 he moved to High1 in the Asia League Ice Hockey . In 2013 he left the team from Chuncheon and joined Daemyung Sangmu , the newly formed third South Korean team in the Asia League Ice Hockey. After two seasons there, he returned to High1 in 2015, where he ended his career in 2018.

International

For South Korea, Ahn Hyun-min took part in the 2004 U18 World Cup in Division I.

At the 2009 World Cup, Division II from Ahn made his debut in the South Korean men's team and was promoted to Division I at the tournament in Sofia . In 2010 , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 and 2014 he represented South Korea in Division I.

At the Winter Asian Games 2011 he was able to win the bronze medal with South Korea behind Kazakhstan and Japan . He also represented his colors in qualifying for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games .
