history

In connection with the founding of the monastery "Kemnade" in 968 by King Heinrich I and his second wife Matilde von Ringelheim and their two sisters Freduruna and Imma, it is reported in 1004 that the property of the knights DE ANE and other knights belonged to the monastery was laid. In 1258 Heinrich de ANE went to Rügen and married Anna von Natzevitz there, in whose later succession the family of ancestors inherited all of their property. The family was first mentioned in a document (on Rügen?) With Claus Anen in 1456. In 1606 the family came to Denmark with Claus von Ahnen . Nicolaus von Ahnen († 1631) was Chancellor in Wolgast and since 1629 Governor on Rügen. After Elzow Martin von Ahnen d. Ä. on Datzow and Götemitz, who apparently died in 1627. His only son Martin von Ahnen d. J. died three years later as a captain in the Swedish service. After reaching maturity, the property was taken over by the son Martin Friedrich von Ahnen († 1680). He was followed by Christian , who owned Liddow on Rügen, and Hans Adam and Eggerd Pribbert , who followed the estates of Groß Datzow and Götemitz. First, Hans Adam took over the heavily indebted goods. He apparently died between 1715 and 1722. Eggert Pribbert then took over Groß Datzow, but sold it by 1728 at the latest. However, the sex continued to flourish in Denmark. After Ledebur, the family found their way out with Wilken Johann von Ahnen († 1750), which is mentioned in the files as late as 1747 as sitting on Klein Carow.

The ancestors were mainly due to complaints, but also in Western Pomerania in addition to the goods United Datzow and Götemitz also temporarily held in Bartvahn, Büdel, Dumgnevitz, Düvier , Gützlafshagen, small Karow , Koserow , Muhlitz , Natzevitz , Nedderhove, Neuendorf , Poggendorf , Poseritz , Silmnitz, Sissow and Zarnevitz. Later, for a short time (1644–1664), the completed Zuhm estates of Üselitz and Grabow fell to them.
