Aigerim Schynasbekowa (born July 1, 1992 ) is a Kazakh hurdler who specializes in the 100-meter distance .

Athletic career

Aigerim Schynasbekowa gained her first experience in international championships at the Youth World Championships 2009 in Bressanone , where she was eliminated in the 100 meter hurdles with 13.88 seconds in the semifinals and with the Kazakh sprint relay (1000 meters) with 2: 14.53 minutes in the preliminary run. The following year she did not finish in the final of the Junior Asian Championships in Hanoi and was disqualified with the 4 x 100 meter relay. Then she retired at the Junior World Championships in Moncton with 14.21 s in the first round. In 2017 she finished eighth at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar in 13.93 s and then reached the semifinals at the Summer Universiade in Taipei , where she was eliminated with 13.93 s. The following year she won in 8.32 s at the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran in the 60-meter hurdles and was disqualified in the preliminary run at the Asian Games in Jakarta .

In 2019, she finished eighth again in 13.50 seconds at the Asian Championships in Doha .

In 2012 and 2018, Shyasbekova became the Kazakh champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay and in 2018 also in the 100 meter hurdles. In the hall, she secured the titles in the 60 meter hurdles in 2018 and 2019.
