The Aigre (in the upper reaches: Fossé de l'Aigre ) is a river in France that runs in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Ouzouer-le-Marché , generally drains west to northwest and flows 31 kilometers below Romilly-sur-Aigre as a left tributary into the Loir . On its way, the Aigre crosses the Eure-et-Loir and Loir-et-Cher departments .
