Ouzouer-le-Marché is a village and a former French commune with 2,040 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of Blois and the canton of La Beauce (until 2015: canton of Ouzouer-le-Marché ). The inhabitants are called oratorios .

With effect from January 1, 2016, Ouzouer-le-Marché merged with the former municipalities of La Colombe , Membrolles , Prénouvellon , Semerville , Tripleville and Verdes to form the Commune nouvelle Beauce la Romaine and has the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .

location

Ouzouer-le-Marché is located about 28 kilometers west of Orléans at the source of the Aigre .

Neighboring towns are Prénouvellon in the north, Charsonville in the northeast, Baccon in the east and southeast, Villermain in the south, Saint-Laurent-des-Bois in the southwest, Binas in the west and Tripleville in the northwest.
