La Colombe is a village and a former French commune of 203 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of Blois and the canton of La Beauce (until 2015: canton of Ouzouer-le-Marché ). As an independent municipality , it also included the hamlets of Cireaux, Le Plessis, La Gahandière and Villecelier in addition to the main settlement and was affected by the Baignon river , which is still referred to here as Grand Fossé .

With effect from January 1, 2016, La Colombe merged with the former municipalities of Ouzouer-le-Marché , Membrolles , Prénouvellon , Semerville , Tripleville and Verdes to form the Commune nouvelle Beauce la Romaine and has the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .

Neighboring towns are Moisy in the northwest, Semerville in the north, Autainville in the east, Saint-Léonard-en-Beauce in the south and Vievy-le-Rayé in the southwest.
