Aivo Udras was active for Dünamo Tallinn and started playing in 1981. As a young athlete, during the separation of Estonia from the Soviet Union, he was promoted to the newly emerging national biathlon team. His first major international event was the Winter Olympics in Albertville , where he was 61st in the sprint and eleventh in the relay race with Hillar Zahkna , Kalju Ojaste and Urmas Kaldvee . Surprisingly, after the games at the World Championships in the non-Olympic team race in Novosibirsk with Kaldvee, Zahkna and Ojaste, he won the bronze medal behind the representatives of the CIS and Norway. 1993 in Borovets Udras was 58th of the sprint, his place in the relay went to Olaf Mihelson . In 1994 he took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer for the second time . His 16th place in the individual was his best international individual result, in the sprint he reached rank 50, with Mihelson, Kaldvee and Ojaste in the relay race 13th After the season , he ended his career.
