The Ajakli ( Russian Аякли ) is the 166 km long right-hand or southeastern headwaters of the Cheta in northern Siberia ( Russia , Asia ) and flows in the former Taimyr Autonomous Okrug in the north of the Krasnoyarsk region .

The Ajakli rises and runs a little north of the Arctic Circle in the Putorana Mountains , the remote northeast part of the Central Siberian Mountains . The river flows predominantly northwestward to unite with the Ajan to form Cheta in the mountains . The latter leaves the mountains running northwards as the southwestern headwaters of the Chatanga .

The most important tributaries of the Ajakli are Chugdjakit (length 98 km; also Chigdekit ) and Chibarba (135 km), both from the left.
